Previous: Where did the material world come from?
This brings us back to you … and who You are? We know you exist but what is existence? … No one knows! … Existence itself is the greatest mystery in the universe. But we also know that consciousness and belief is all there is (see: Imagine that you are God). If consciousness and belief is all there is, than it follows that YOU are consciousness and belief just as is everything else.
In fact, you are consciousness that has forgotten your true nature of being all that is and that believes it is something else. You believe you are separate from all that is and you believe other things about yourself in order to experience the things that you choose to believe in. You are a piece of God that has forgotten who you are in order to experience some particular thing about Yourself! … Imagine that … a child of God! This is in fact who we all are. We are all children of God, or more precisely, parts of God that believe we are separate from all that is.
The practical implications of this are pervasive and profound. For example, you have God’s ability to expand creation with your consciousness and belief. You are in essence a creative being that has no other purpose than to simply be. You can choose what you want to be by simply choosing what you will be conscious of, through your beliefs.

And if someone “else” does something to you, this also you are doing to yourself!
If they hurt you they are hurting themselves and if you hurt them you are hurting yourself because in reality we all are one … “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” … makes a lot of sense from this point of view. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” is the only logical (and true) way to live. “Love your enemies ” is practical because your enemies are a part of you that has forgotten who it is, in order to provide you with the experience of being different from them.
You are a powerful being with infinite possibilities and unlimited potential! Your essence is pure consciousness and your creative power is in the beliefs you choose.
If you create your reality with your beliefs the logical question to ask is, “How can I discover and (if I choose) change my beliefs?” In other words, how can I control my beliefs and thereby the quality of my life experience?

Interesting and very thought provoking. I agree that we must take responsibility for the what we wish to experience. Understanding that we create our own reality is the first step I suppose.
